MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack R Type & V Type, Premium Bandai

In combination with the separately sold MG Gundam F90, a parts set Mission Pack R Type & V Type for MG Gundam F90 that can reproduce the R type of information gathering and battle situation record specifications and the V type of new firearm test specifications is now available.

Mission Packs

Mission Packs were built by the Earth Federation's Strategic Naval Research Institute (SNRI), the prototype F90 Gundam F90 was equipped with a set of hardpoints for mounting mission specific equipment such as extra thrusters, weaponry or recon devices. A later revamp of the design called the F90II Gundam F90II had two extra packs designed specifically for it. 

In addition, it was possible to create new configurations by mixing and matching components of the different mission packs (like the "Type A.D.S." which combined the Assault, Destroid and Support Types equipments). The concept of complex Mission Packs seem to have been abandoned after F90's development with only Full Equipment Type G-Cannon and RGM-109 Heavygun Full Equipment Type from F91-MSV shown with equally complex equipments.

MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack Reconnaissance Type & VSBR Type

In combination with the separately sold "MG Gundam F90", a parts set "Mission Pack R Type & V Type for MG Gundam F90" that can reproduce the R type of information gathering and battle situation record specifications and the V type of new firearm test specifications is now available. MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack R Type & V Type will be released separately with MG Gundam F90 on a limited basis in June 2021 at a price of JPY 2,530.

The R type and V type of the mission pack developed for the prototype MS Gundam F90 of "Formula Project" by Sanary appeared in MG with completely new modeling. The hugely popular V type is three-dimensionalized in MG format. The newly drawn R type will be the first three-dimensional. In addition, water slide decals including original markings are included.

R (Reconnaissance) Type information gathering / war situation record specifications

MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack Reconnaissance Type

The unexplained R type is three-dimensionalized based on the drawing by Mr. Kunio Okawara. A reconnaissance pack equipped with a camera unit and stealth armor, which bears the name of Reconnaissance, is reproduced with new modeling.

The parts that cover the entire surface of the stealth armor can be moved in various poses. The additional parts of the legs reproduce the internal structure by dividing the parts. The arm camera unit can reproduce the injection state with the attached lead wire.

V (VSBR) type new firearm test specifications

MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack VSBR Type

A substantial prototype of the F91, developed as a test base for the armament of the new main MS of the Federal Army. In order to operate the new firearm "VSBR", heat radiation fins have been added to the shoulders and thrusters have been added to the legs. 

MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack VSBR Type

The vesbar on the back is movable in front of the aircraft. Equipped with a mega Gatling gun on the right arm. In addition, a dedicated beam rifle is newly included. It is also equipped with a beam shield.
