REVIEW HG 1/144 RX-105 Ξ Gundam, Bandai

"Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway of the Flash" scheduled to be released in theaters from May 21, 2021 (Friday). Isn't there a lot of people waiting for the best release date? In this article, i will thoroughly review the main character "HG 1/144 Xi Gundam" of the same work released prior to the movie. Let's take a look at this kit, which gives you a feeling of the spirit of the new Gundam.

Let's assemble it. First from the torso. The abdomen is equipped with a joint that allows you to swing back and forth. I'm glad that the neck parts are made of plastic. When the blue exterior parts are assembled, it looks like a fuselage. 

Shoulder joint parts, the front protrusion is the part where the chest exterior is attached. Shoulders can swing back and forth. Swing back and forth in the abdomen. It's a gimmick that demonstrates its power when posing. Thruster to be attached to the back. The vernier part has a ball joint connection so that the base can move slightly. The base of the fuselage is completed.

Chest exterior with a very Ξ Gundam-like design. The orange part reproduces the color coding with a sticker. Parts in the center of the chest. It is a very beautiful part with good details and good shape.

If you attach these to the base of the fuselage, the fuselage part is completed. Even so, it's big. I put it side by side with the fuselage of "HG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam [BEYOND GLOBAL]" of the same scale so that the feeling of size is easy to understand. It ’s quite a shock, is n’t it? 

Details of hand parts. It ’s a very enthusiastic detail. There are cover parts on the shield connection part. I can't get rid of it. Detail parts are also included on the back of the elbow.  Five types of hand parts are included: left and right fists (for beam saber), left and right flat hands, and right rifle.

The orange part of the ankle part is color-coded with a sticker. The ankle has a gimmick that breaks in the center.  The rose-apple parts are divided by detail. The connection with the ankle has double joints, so it is perfect for grounding when standing up.

I want to pay attention to the hem. While the exterior has a double structure, it has a very fetish finish with a little gap between the exteriors.

There are details on the back of the knees. This item has many details on the back of the armor. If you look closely at the tip of the knee, the exterior and the mold on the back of the armor are connected. The stabilizer of the sneak has a movable shaft.

Next, let's move on to assembling the waist. Here are the detail parts on the back of the front and rear armor. The rear armor is engraved with the funnel missile, which is also a feature of Ξ Gundam.

First, attach the rear armor. A funnel missile appears when you flip it up. This is the front armor. When the exterior and the back parts of the armor are combined, the part circled in red is exposed to the front. Fashionable.

If you attach the side armor, the waist is completed. This is the base part of the shoulder armor. I will assemble at this timing.

Next is the large stabilizer on the back. The small wing on the top is movable. Attach the base and you're done. The yellow part of the small wing is color-coded with a sticker. Finally, let's make an armor. Quickly assemble the beam rifle and shield. The shield connection can be slid up and down.

How Transformation to flight form

I will explain the transformation to flight form. 

First, bend the ankle in the center and change the angle of the blade-shaped parts attached to both sides.

Next, turn the stabilizer-shaped parts of the sneak downward. Then remove the large stabilizer on the back.

Change the direction of the beam saber base on the shoulder and store it in the shoulder armor.
