REVIEW Metal Robot Spirit [SIDE MS] Versal Knight Gundam (Real Type ver.), Premium Bandai
The following is a review of Metal Robot Spirit<SIDE MS>Versal Knight Gundam (Real Type ver.) from the SD Gundam Musou series released by Bandai.
Metal Robot Spirit [SIDE MS] Versal Knight Gundam (Real Type ver.) Review
Head Unit
Arranged with a sharp face that is significantly different from the SD time as with the previous real type. The eyes are painted metallic as usual. The movable gimmick of the visor is also the same as before.
Body Unit
The design of the armor is different, so the modeling is new. White and silver are painted with metallic or matte to give a profound feeling. The body shape is almost the same as before. The armor was moderately arranged to match the real life.
Arms and Legs Unit
The characteristic shoulder armor is shaped quite large. Details are added to the legs, which are not available in SD, for a precise look. The center of the shoulder armor is slightly movable. The wings of Nightflyer can be stored and deployed. The wings move slightly back and forth, and the base can also rotate. The central armor can also be opened wide.
Weaponry and Accessories
Metal Robot Spirit<SIDE MS>Versal Knight Gundam (Real Type ver.) included a set of pedestals. Versal sword, Similar to Night Sword, but new in modeling. This is also made with particular attention to texture, such as different colors at the tip of the blade. Can be stored in a sheath attached to the back of the waist.
Electromagnetic lance is also a different model from the one of the normal Knight Gundam. It's a little disappointing that the handle is a little loose and easy to come off. By pushing in the handle, the claws expand and can be further expanded from there. This can be mounted on the back. With this, 3 types of armor of the early Knight Gundam are lined up.
Movability and Articulation
Since the joints are made in the same way as the Knight Gundam in the past, the movement is almost the same. There is almost no interference with the enlarged shoulder armor, but it is basically difficult to move the shoulder, so if you force it, it will come off occasionally. This is a little easy to come off, so it was better to move the main body first and hold it last when posing.
It is possible to turn the waist firmly as before. As for the hardness of the joints, the hip joints were a little loose and I felt that they would spread as they were when I tried to open my legs with full equipment. The color is relatively simple, but the volume is the best impression I have ever had. Unlike normal Knight Gundam and Full Armor Knight Gundam, I didn't have a shield, so it was coolest to have both hands holding a weapon like the picture of Carddass.
Summary
The real type ver. Of Knight Gundam was quite spaced one by one, so it was unclear if it would even come out to Versal, but all forms were released exactly. As before, the finished product has a sense of precision with the addition of an arrangement that matches the real life, and the silver armor is also painted with metallic and matte, and the texture is good. It was a little difficult, but it looked very good when fully equipped and was good enough for me personally. It seems to be difficult for all the Argus Knights, but I would like to see the Superior Dragon and Neo Black Dragon if possible.
