 This is review of action figure die-cast Gunpla Metal Robot Spirit [SIDE MS] XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell from New Mobile Report Gundam Wing series.

Metal Robot Damashii [SIDE MS] XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell Review

As with Zero and Epyon, the size is larger, and there is also a cloak, so it feels quite voluminous. As before, the texture is a basic matte with a calm atmosphere. Only the body part is up. 

Head Unit

The head is also newly sculpted, and the antennas have been sharpened to give it a more fearless look. Metallic paint as usual. Accurate painting of fine parts such as eaves and vulcans. 

Body Unit

The balance of the torso has also changed and it is massive. The rib jammer has become metallic and markings have been added to increase the sense of precision. 

Arms and Legs

The limbs are long like Zero and Epyon. As with Epyon, there are many markings around here, which may be pros and cons depending on the person. The hyper jammer at the top of the backpack was movable in the old version, but this time it is fixed. The active cloak is connected with a die-cast arm coming out from the side of the collar. 

The base is slightly movable up and down and back and forth. The front and rear cloaks can be finely adjusted in terms of direction and angle by connecting ball joints. Simply open the sides. Previously, only the protruding parts were painted on the back of the cloak, but this time it is painted over a wide area and the mold is also increased, greatly improving the appearance.

As for the movement, the swing width of the neck and waist is moderate. The shoulders can be raised as they are, and the elbows and knees can be deeply bent. The hip joint was a pull-out type, and it moved widely in the front and back, and the grounding was also high. The shoulder can be pulled out about 40 degrees. 

Weaponry and Accessories

A set of pedestals. It has a twin beam size and a shield. The beam blade of twin beam size is normal output. Two types of high output are included. The part that outputs the beam also had two types, large and small. 

The beam blade base part small can be moved in multiple places and the degree of opening can be adjusted. The black part in the middle of the large base part is fixed, so the range of motion is narrower than the small one. 

Also, the pattern was the same type as the old version. The small base part can be stored and mounted on the back of the waist with a short handle attached. Buster shield is considerably larger than the old version, and the white part is also painted metallic, making it quite flashy. 

Attachment is by pin only. Since it is a ball joint, it was easy to escape interference. Beam blade for buster shield is also included. Here, open the blade at the tip and attach it. The upper vernier is also movable. 

This can be opened and closed without replacement, just like the old version. The cloak has become larger, so it feels a little more bloated than the old version. It also came with a support part to fix the cloak closed. This is attached to the back side and used. As before, the size is one size larger than the old version. It was just a little smaller than Wing Zero. 

Movability and Articulation

Cloak opening of OP. As mentioned above, the movement is good everywhere, and you can easily hold the sickle with both hands as in the play. There is no problem with swinging down.

The waist rotates well, but the head interferes with the collar, so it was impossible to turn directly to the side. The beam blade is also larger than the previous version and has a powerful cup. The grounding was quite high, the joints were hard, and the independence was stable. The front and rear cloaks are movable with ball joints, so you can flexibly move them.
