The ZGMF-X12D Astray Out Frame D (ZGMF-X12D ガンダムアストレイ アウトフレームD) is a modified iteration of the ZGMF-X12 Gundam Astray Out Frame, originally featured in the sidestory Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray. This repaired version incorporates various improvements and enhancements.

Plastic Model Kit Gunpla Master Grade MG 1/100 ZGMF-X12D Gundam Astray Out Frame D 

The ZGMF-X12D Astray Out Frame D features a silhouette reminiscent of the prototype machine Testament Gundam, faithfully reproduced based on Junichi Akutsu's latest artwork. This Master Grade (MG) model draws inspiration from the "MG Testament Gundam" and incorporates new parts to accurately replicate the aircraft's color and shape.

The distinct weapons of this unit, namely the gun camera and beam rifle, have also been redesigned with new modeling based on freshly created designs. The gun camera showcases meticulous detailing, characteristic of the Master Grade line, capturing even the smallest elements. The lens part is enhanced with a foil seal and clear parts to achieve a realistic texture. The beam rifle boasts a telescopic gimmick in its stock section, while the work knife "Armor Schneider" features a folding mechanism and can be stored on the back joint.

The model accurately reproduces the back joint's deployment gimmick, allowing for the attachment of the gun camera and beam rifle on its sub-arms, as well as storage of the work knife "Armor Schneider." The sub-arms are equipped with multiple movable axes and telescopic features, enabling the depiction of the deployed state. The arm tips are designed with an opening and closing gimmick, allowing for the attachment of various weapons and flexible movement through ball joints. Additionally, the kit includes a clear color display base and new water transfer decals. Special parts are included to enhance the retrofit gimmicks, and the model is compatible with various striker packs and silhouettes, adding to its versatility.
