Gundam Metaverse : Gundam Colony

 On March 27, 2023 (Monday), "Gundam Conference SPRING 2023" was held. This year's conference will focus on the Gundam Metaverse Project, one of the three pillars of the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -ROAD 2025-" project, which is aimed at the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series and the 45th anniversary of Gunpla.

Gundam Metaverse "Gunpla Colony" opens for testing in October 2023!

In October 2023, the Gunpla Colony will open for testing. In the test open, in addition to releasing the 3D space, we plan to operate a gunpla EC shop and conduct a gunpla scan.

Build an EC shop space where you can purchase actual Gunpla in the Metaverse space. We provide added value and purchasing experiences unique to the Metaverse, such as attractive product displays and the ability to play with purchased Gunpla as content within the Metaverse.

Gunpla Scan Progress

We are also researching a service to scan Gunpla so that you can enjoy Gunpla you made not only as a photograph but also as a three-dimensional model in the Metaverse space. We are working with the Sony Group on research into scanning technology using smartphones and high-quality scanning technology that can scan even the smallest details using a dedicated scanning housing.

Gundam Metaverse 2nd Limited Time Open

Bandai Namco Entertainment will hold the "Gundam Metaverse 2nd Limited Time Open" from March 15, 2024 (Friday). In addition, a pre-registration campaign has begun in advance of the limited-time opening where you can get priority access to Gundam Metaverse.

What Is The Gundam Metaverse Project?

A place for Gundam fans from all over the world to gather, talk, and experience a variety of content. This is a project that aims for a future where Bandai Namco and fans "co-create" by operating and developing Gundam Metaverse together with fans, and where the next Gundam is born from the fan community.

What Is Gundam Metaverse 2nd Limited Time Opening?

The 2nd limited-time opening of "GUNDAM METAVERSE PROJECT" will update the Metaverse space and content based on the feedback from the previous limited-time opening. It can now be accessed from a computer browser so that more fans can enjoy it.

Regarding the display of works by fans, which was popular last time, we have introduced a new display method and expanded the number of exhibits.

• A digital diorama created by scanning the winning works of the Gunpla World Tournament (*GUNPLA BUILDERS WORLD CUP 11th TOURNAMENT JAPAN) and the works of digital creators.
• A statue scanned from a work in "Builder's Notes" (official Gunpla community) with commentary by Hobby Japan's editorial department.
• Photos of Gunpla works posted in "Builder's Notes" are divided into 10 categories, with a total of over 1,000 pieces on display.

Pre-registration Campaign Underway!

We are conducting a pre-registration campaign where you can win priority access rights by lottery, which allows you to play without waiting even when many people access the game at the same time. Additionally, those who apply for the campaign will be able to use limited avatar parts within Gundam Metaverse. In addition, Gundam related products including Gundam Metaverse original goods and Gunpla will be given away through a lottery.

"Builder's Note", the first official Gunpla fan community centered on Gunpla, where Gunpla fans can gather, post and share Gunpla works, and interact with each other, is now open!

You can find your favorite Gundam model!

In addition to being able to search for works posted on various themes by Gunpla kit, there is also a recommendation function that displays recommended works that suit you.

Posting events will be held from time to time!
