Gundam Build: Metaverse

The "Gundam Build" series, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2023, is currently producing three episodes titled "Gundam Build Metaverse" as a 10th anniversary commemorative video!

Gundam Build : Metaverse

As the name suggests, it is a video work with a world view inspired by the Gundam Metaverse Project, and it is planned to deliver a dream competition that can only be realized in the world of the Metaverse.

This work is scheduled to be distributed on the Gundam Channel around October 2023. As the 10th anniversary project of the "Gundam Build" series, animation, Gunpla, and the Gundam Metaverse project are linked.

Story

A new Internet service was born in the world of Gunpla. In the Metaverse space, users can move their own avatar, interact with other users, have Gunpla battles, and actually purchase Gunpla. Hojo Rio, a young boy who jumped into this new world, learned Gunpla building techniques from Seria Urtsuki in the real world, and in the Metaverse world, Masklady taught him the know-how of Gunpla battles, honing his skills day by day. Rio, who has completed his own original Gunpla "Ra Gundam", encounters the former Gunpla Battle strongmen in the Metaverse space.

Hojo Rio

A boy who loves gunpla and lives in Hawaii. Having a Japanese grandfather, he is interested in Japanese culture, samurai and ninja. He has a bright and positive personality. Even if he loses a battle, he doesn't get discouraged, and his first priority is having fun.

A clerk at a nearby hobby shop and a teacher in a Gundam class. He sometimes sleeps and wakes up in that classroom, and there are aspects that are a little missing. At Rio's request, he became Rio's Gunpla build master. Rumor has it that he used to be a famous builder.

Masked Lady

Rio's gunpla battle master in the Metaverse. his arms are first class. He has a strictness that does not cut corners even in practice matches.

Mobile Suit

The visual of the mobile suit, Ra Gundam, which Hojo Rio is building in the works, has been released.

Lah Gundam

A Gunpla built by Rio based on ENTRY GRADE's RX-78-2 Gundam. For Rio, who grew up in Hawaii, it has been customized with the image of "Japanese heart", and the aircraft name "Lah" has the meaning of "sun" in Hawaiian. Despite being a novice, he repeated trial and error, and the meticulous craftsmanship completed the machine is imbued with his dazzling admiration for Rio's Gunpla Battle.
