Bandai FW GUNDAM CONVERGE #MOVIE VISUAL SELECTION Review

All the mobile suits in this set are color variations, designed to evoke the nostalgic color palettes from the theatrical posters of the Mobile Suit Gundam movies. The sculpts and mechanics remain the same as previous versions, with each mobile suit receiving a fresh coat of retro-inspired paint.

RX-78 Gundam (Gundam I Ver.)

The Gundam retains its classic design but with a color scheme reminiscent of the Soldiers of Sorrow movie poster. It's possible to equip the Gundam with a bazooka, and the sculpt shares similarities with the #08 Gundam release.

MS-06S Zaku II [Char's Custom] (Gundam I Ver.)

Char's Zaku II comes with a darker color scheme compared to the standard version. The mono-eye has also been adjusted to match the new color scheme. This figure includes a bazooka as an optional accessory, similar to the #09 Char’s Zaku.

MS-09 The Dom features a reddish tint in line with the Soldiers of Sorrow poster. The heat saber's direction has been reversed to match the poster's illustration. It shares its sculpt with the #13 Dom.

MSM-07S Char's Z'Gok (Gundam II Ver.)

Already a red mobile suit, Char’s Z’Gok now comes in a deeper, more intense red. The darker sections, like the limbs, take on a red-black hue, while the upper arms, thighs, and claws are given a metallic finish. It shares its base sculpt with the #15 Char’s Z’Gok.

MSM-03 Gogg (Gundam II Ver.)

The Gogg is painted in a reddish tint with some parts, like the abdomen, given a metallic touch. This gives it a unique appearance compared to the original version, similar to the #16 Gogg release.

MS-07B Gouf (Gundam II Ver.)

The Gouf doesn’t follow the red theme as strongly, but its blue coloring has been darkened. The heat rod and shield have also seen changes in their color scheme. The figure includes interchangeable arms and weapons, allowing for a heat saber in one hand and a machine gun in the other. This design is based on the #12 Gouf.

RX-78 Gundam (Gundam II Ver.)
