The MG 1/100 Proto Freedom, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @Ex_gmodeler, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

Based on the 2.0 Freedom Gundam, this custom build was conceived as a prototype machine that serves as the missing link between the GAT-X105 Freedom and the GAT-X303 Aegis. It was designed with an overburdened, yet still unrefined aesthetic, representing the early stages of development.

The backpack was modified, using the thrusters from the Jin High Maneuver, which would eventually lead to the Meteor. Additionally, the wings were enlarged and reshaped through a combination of plastic sheets and parts mixing, giving the suit a more rugged, rather than sleek, impression.

The main body was also modified, especially the chest and shoulders, where major design changes were made. These alterations gave the suit a distinct look, enhancing its believability as a completely different MS.

For the red and blue sections, RAYVE colors in two shades were used. These colors have a heroic depth, perfectly capturing the intended Freedom Gundam vibe. For the white parts, they used Gaia's Character Cool White, and for the black sections, Neutral Gray V was applied.
