The RG 1/144 Casval's Gundam: Anti-Ship Specification, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @sunnyplace913, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

A modeler has completed a custom build of the RG Gundam Ver. 2.0, themed as Casval’s Custom Gundam, featuring a special configuration equipped with an anti-ship rifle. This particular build showcases intricate detailing, refined paintwork, and personalized modifications that bring out a premium finish. The build involved extensive multi-color paint separation, utilizing five different shades of red, three shades of gray, and six metallic tones. The modeler employed meticulous masking techniques to achieve sharp separations, including multicolor paintwork on the internal frame to enhance realism and depth.

On the head unit, the twin eyes and front/rear head sensors were painted with a base of silver, overlaid with clear yellow, and finished with a glossy coating. The cheek and facial groove lines were re-scribed for definition, and the interior of the cheek guards was color-separated. For added detail, EZ Gun Muzzle metal parts were embedded into the Vulcan cannons.

The chest, waist, and backpack underwent structural modifications. The protruding parts on both sides of the chest were cut and reshaped to streamline the silhouette. The central "V" emblem on the waist part was removed for a cleaner look. Verniers were painted with premium metallic silver, and their internal sections featured metallic blue tones for contrast.

On the arms, the shoulder armor was adorned with custom-made white decals representing the "Casval Mark" and the "Zeon Mark," both created by the modeler to match the theme.

The leg units also received several enhancements. The knee guards were thickened using plastic materials, and the thigh outer armor was reshaped for balance and visual appeal. The ankle joint was extended by 1mm and reinforced with a brass rod for durability. The recessed mold on the front of the boots was removed, and a custom white decal reading "CA ~ NEO ZEON" was applied to the left knee for added flair.

Each of the weapons was given careful attention. The beam sabers were fitted with metal parts on the grip ends, and their effect parts were painted in gradient tones to give a sense of energy and motion. The beam rifle was color-separated with fine detail. The anti-ship rifle, repurposed from the HG Char’s Zaku II Red Comet Ver., was modified so that it could be held naturally by the RG frame. The rifle’s scope included embedded etched parts, sealed with an H-Eyes Yellow lens.

The shield was also carefully masked and painted on the reverse side, with a custom "Zeon Mark" decal applied. The bazooka underwent multi-tone painting, and the Core Fighter 2.0 received a complete color unification—gray parts were replaced with red, and the wheels were color-separated to stand out visually.

Finally, the joints and internal frame were painted using a variety of metallic and specialty tones, including EVO Gunmetal, Super Iron 2, EX Gold, a custom-blended gray-purple metallic, and Red Gold. These choices give the frame a mechanical depth that complements the external color scheme.

This custom RG Casval Gundam build not only showcases high-level craftsmanship and creativity but also pays homage to the legacy of Casval Rem Deikun with unique markings and modifications that set it apart from standard kits.
