The Gundam Barbatos Mode Calamity is complete—well, in truth, it’s already been finished for a while. The final touches were completed in the early morning hours just before the opening of Nexpo 2025.

This marks the last “Mode Calamity” build in the Iron-Blooded Boosted Man series, and the full-body photos were beautifully captured by professional photographer Useda (Instagram: [@soboro2302]).

The concept behind this build brings together the Calamity and Barbatos, resulting in a unique design that features both four legs and multiple arms—a first-time experiment for the builder. Structurally, it leans more toward an Armored Core–style mechanical frame rather than a standard Mobile Suit, packed with the creator’s own stylistic touches and mechanical instincts.

In the back view, the model stands firmly on all four legs without the need for a base, showcasing both stability and balance. Multiple parts from the Boundary War Machine HG 1/72 Meires Goyou were incorporated, with its sub-arms fitting perfectly into Kotobukiya MSG weapons—an effortless, modification-free integration that enhances functionality and visual impact.

The final dynamic shot captures the model’s full sense of motion and power. Impressively, this was completed in just 26 days, the fastest build in the creator’s history.
