The PG 1/60 Sengoku Zaku, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @Katori_13, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

“Sengoku Zaku” (Warring States Zaku)

This project was built using a Perfect Grade Zaku as the main base, customized into a Japanese-style Zaku.

It was submitted to the GBWC 13th, presented as a standalone model without a base.

The build features heavy kitbashing — the main body from PG Zaku, a Labi-en-Rose hat and shoulder armor, and the waist armor from the HY2M 1/60 Rick Dom (originally mislisted as PG Dom; corrected as of 2025/9/24).

Creating a PG-scale, samurai-inspired Zaku had been a long-time goal, and this GBWC entry was the perfect opportunity to make it happen.

The back view shows a custom-made katana — the blade and scabbard were scratch-built, while all other parts were combined through mixing and modification.

For the first time, I also experimented with LED lighting for the mono-eye. Seeing it illuminated brings an entirely new level of intensity to the model — I’m really glad I tried it!

Finally, the completed photos were taken by a close friend, capturing the full scale and presence of this massive PG build in stunning detail.
