The HG 1/144 Geara Doga: Heavy Armed Type, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @Futon_Daimaou, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

The Geara Doga Heavy Armament Type marks the second completed build of 2025. This project focuses on enhancing both presence and mechanical density while maintaining a coherent silhouette that feels natural within the Universal Century lineup.

The base kit was refined primarily through proportion adjustments rather than extreme reconstruction. The neck and waist were extended to improve vertical balance, while the thighs were replaced with parts from the HG Sazabi. Thickening the thighs to the right degree proved to be a key point, as it significantly reinforced the unit’s heavy, grounded appearance.

The helmet design was modified with reference to the RG Sazabi, extending it laterally and toward the rear to create a more imposing profile. The mono-eye follows a familiar method, combining reflective tape with clear resin to achieve depth and clarity.

The highlight of the build is the Lange Bruno Cannon, constructed from a mix of plastic materials and spare parts. The fabric elements were formed by applying polyester putty and shaping it with vinyl wrap, resulting in convincing folds and volume.

Viewed from different angles, the model emphasizes mass and aggression, reinforcing the heavy-armament concept. When compared with the original kit, the upgraded version appears more stylish while dramatically increasing surface information and visual density. Close-up views reveal refined panel lining and layered detail work.

Displayed alongside the previously completed Psycho Doga Custom, the shared scribing patterns help unify the two machines visually. Together, they create a striking display that highlights consistent design language across builds.

The Geara Doga Heavy Armament Type successfully balances bold modifications with restraint, resulting in a machine that feels both powerful and believable. Despite the official announcement of a related release shortly afterward, completing this build ahead of time adds a satisfying sense of accomplishment. With this project finished, attention now returns to the ongoing Alpha Azieru build.
