Introducing the newest evolution in the GRANDE SCALE series — DURGA I.

Marking a powerful debut in Kotobukiya’s large-scale lineup, Durga I arrives in an impressive 1/6 scale (approximately 25 cm tall). Designed once again by ToMo with mechanical design by E-ji Komatsu, this release preserves the original character’s identity while elevating it to an entirely new presence.

Crafted using the original, highly detailed Kotobukiya CAD data, Durga I has been faithfully enlarged for the GRANDE SCALE format. The increased size enhances every aspect of the kit — from easier assembly and painting to expanded articulation and poseability — delivering both visual impact and hands-on enjoyment.

Thanks to the larger scale, the color separation has been reproduced with greater accuracy, resulting in a more refined and premium finish straight out of the box. The kit includes three tampography-printed facial expressions — Default, Winking, and Shouting — allowing you to bring Durga I’s personality to life.

Customization is a major highlight of this model. The bangs can be displayed with or without headgear, and a ribbon can be attached by removing the armor. Additional decals are included for the eyes and elegant gold markings, offering even more display options.

Durga I’s signature clear armor is recreated using transparent parts, complete with finely engraved details beneath the surface for added depth and realism. The included 5mm joint system allows the armor to be assembled in its default form or mixed into alternate configurations.

Armed and ready for battle, Durga I comes equipped with the iconic Hale-Rung lance, which can be separated into a short lance and a mace for versatile combat poses. Optional thigh and hip joint parts further expand the range of motion and pose variety.

Articulation has been significantly enhanced with pop-out chest, shoulder, and thigh joints, along with a sliding hip mechanism, enabling dynamic and expressive action poses. The ball-jointed hands support fluid movement and natural gestures.

The kit includes five sets of PVC hand parts, fully compatible with other Frame Arms Girl GRANDE SCALE models. In addition, larger 1/6-scale PVC weapon-holding hands are provided, perfect for holding guns, swords, and other accessories.

To ensure maximum compatibility, joint converters are included to switch 5mm connection points to 3mm, allowing Durga I to seamlessly use equipment from the M.S.G series and other Kotobukiya model kits.
