The second release in the Yggdrasis series, designed by the renowned illustrator Nidy-2D-, has arrived for Kotobukiya’s Megami Device lineup. Introducing SKOLL SHARPSHOOTER, a striking plastic model kit that seamlessly blends Bishoujo-style aesthetics with heavy-duty military weaponry and armor. Drawing inspiration from Norse mythology, the Yggdrasis series reimagines mythical beings through a modern, tactical lens, creating a bold fusion of fantasy and mechanized combat design.

Skoll Sharpshooter is engineered as a Megami specializing in long-range combat, equipped with an imposing sniper rifle as her primary weapon. This rifle features multiple transformation options, with removable barrel, stock, and scope, and can even be folded into a compact form to be carried as a backpack. Additional armaments, including a handgun, further reinforce her role as a battlefield marksman. Her shoulder armor creates a distinctive silhouette that clearly sets her apart from the first release, Garm Ripper, while adding visual weight and presence to her design.

Built on the Machineca Block2-M body by Masaki Apsy, Skoll Sharpshooter boasts a tougher, more grounded appearance that faithfully reflects her original illustration. The poseable shoulder armor features deployable and retractable blades, adding both visual flair and dynamic play value. Her mechanical leg design, inherited from the popular ASRA series, has been further refined with advanced engineering, enhancing stability, articulation, and overall realism.

This kit includes three pre-painted and pre-printed face parts, allowing builders to easily switch expressions without the need for customization. Thanks to its modular construction, parts can be freely mixed and matched to enjoy multiple configurations, from the clean and elegant Unarmed Mode to the fully equipped Armed Mode loaded with weapons and armor. The highly flexible Machineca base body supports a wide range of natural poses, including combat-ready stances, relaxed postures, and even seated displays.

Plastic Model MEGAMI DEVICE

Kotobukiya’s Megami Device series is a line of 14 cm (5½”) plastic model kits that come with a range of weapons and equipment that allow you to enjoy building and customizing your own Megami Device to use in robot battles.

Each character has a main body, or “machineca,” designed by Masaki Apsy, while the models’ unique armor and mechanics are designed in collaboration with a variety of guest illustrators. The kits come with multi-colored parts and face parts pre-printed with tampography, making them easy to assemble with no paint required. The kits are equipped with 3mm joints, making them compatible with all of the weapons in the Megami Device line as well as Kotobukiya’s other plastic model kit series!
