The MGEX 1/100 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Custom, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @Aona_Maxwell, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

The MGEX RX-0 Unicorn Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn has been completed with a strong focus on articulation refinement, panel line detailing, and precise color separation. Rather than relying on excessive structural changes, the build emphasizes maximizing the visual potential of the already highly detailed MGEX kit.

A major objective of the project was achieving the ideal standing pose. To accomplish this, articulation ranges were expanded in key areas, allowing the Unicorn Gundam to hold more natural and balanced poses while maintaining its imposing presence.

Surface detailing was approached primarily through panel line enhancement and careful paint separation. Because the MGEX kit contains an enormous number of parts and many exposed armor undersides, special attention was given to visible internal surfaces as well. Areas that could be seen beneath the armor were fully painted and color-separated to maintain visual consistency from every angle.

Custom hand parts from Mikadoya were also incorporated, improving both expression and weapon handling. Most of the decals used were the official markings included with the kit, helping preserve the authentic MGEX styling while complementing the refined finish.

Overall, this build succeeds by refining the strengths already present in the MGEX Unicorn Gundam, resulting in a polished and highly expressive display piece that balances mechanical detail with clean presentation.
