To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam X, Bandai is releasing a special edition featuring the iconic Gundam DX (Double X) and G-Falcon under the FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE brand. Originally released in December 2019 as part of the FW GUNDAM CONVERGE candy toy series, the Gundam DX returns with upgraded paintwork and enhanced detailing for this anniversary edition.

The Gundam DX features its signature twin satellite cannons, with its yellow and red coloring enhanced to better reflect its appearance in the anime. Additional markings have been added to both shoulders, further increasing the figure’s visual detail. The set also includes new parts that allow the Gundam DX to be displayed in its sleek, streamlined configuration, with the back reflector, leg radiators, and shoulder sensors closed.

The set also includes the G-Falcon, which can be separated into A and B sections and displayed independently using the included base. Its paintwork has been upgraded to match the anime design, while additional markings on the sides add further detail. The G-Falcon can also combine with the Gundam DX, recreating the iconic combined configuration. The rear tank sections can be deployed to help support the G-Falcon when displayed in the combined form.

Adding even more variety, the set includes an assortment of weapons. Alongside the standard Buster Rifle, there is a newly sculpted Defense Plate and a Twin Beam Sword that can also be configured as a double-ended weapon. Additional equipment includes the G-Hammer, Beam Lance, and Rocket Launcher Gun, allowing collectors to create a range of different display configurations.

This special FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE release combines upgraded colors, additional markings, interchangeable parts, the G-Falcon, and a selection of weapons into a commemorative set celebrating three decades of Mobile Suit Gundam X.
