The MG 1/100 FA-78-2 Heavy Gundam returns to the Premium Bandai lineup as a Master Grade plastic model kit based on the Mobile Suit Gundam MSV series.

The Heavy Gundam is a heavily armed mobile suit featuring extensive armor and powerful weaponry. This Master Grade kit faithfully recreates the distinctive appearance of the FA-78-2 with newly detailed armor parts throughout the body.

The characteristic Heavy Gundam design is reproduced through newly molded components covering the head, chest, shoulders, arms, waist, legs, and ankle sections. These details give the completed model its bulky and heavily armored silhouette.

The kit features the Heavy Gundam's distinctive Beam Cannon as one of its primary weapons. The weapon complements the extensive armor and emphasizes the mobile suit's role as a heavily armed Gundam-type machine.

One of the main highlights is the large Frame Launcher mounted on the right arm. Measuring approximately 170mm in total length, the massive weapon gives the completed Master Grade model an imposing appearance and provides a major focal point for action poses.

The Frame Launcher can be displayed prominently together with the Heavy Gundam's other equipment, allowing builders to recreate the heavily armed appearance associated with the MSV design.

A water-slide decal sheet featuring caution markings and other original markings is included. These decals allow builders to add additional surface detail and create a more finished appearance on the completed model.
