REVIEW Mobility Joint Gundam Vol. 1, Bandai

The following is a review of Mobility Joint Gundam Vol. 1, a mini action figure Gundam released by Bandai Candy Division based on the original model of the Mobile Suit unit from Mobile Suit Gundam series.

Bandai Mobility Joint Gundam Vol. 1 Review

RX-78-2 Gundam

As it is the first of the first series, the RX-78-2 Gundam is naturally in the lineup. Although it is deformed, it has a slender figure and a high head and body. There are many stickers in the center of the plastic, so it looked like a BB warrior.

Includes beam rifle and shield. There was no bazooka or beam saber. The shield can be mounted on the back. Movable, the neck is flexible with a ball joint, but the waist only moves sideways. The shoulders can be raised as they are. The elbows and knees can be bent about 100 degrees, and the hip joints can be widely moved back and forth and sideways.

The grounding property is also reasonable. The inside of the box is an instruction manual, and you can assemble it while looking at it. The assembled and painted parts are part of the head and torso, and the joints that are the liver are also included in the completed state. Some parts such as limbs and antennas are runner type.

I didn't need nippers because the runners are easy to separate (it's better to have them). A sticker is also included. It was a little disappointing that this percentage was quite high. With the MS ensemble that has a similar concept and convergence of the same toys. The size of the mobility joint was the largest.

Zeong

Since it is a normal Zeong, there are no legs. The pedestal uses EX parts. Please note that it does not stick here. The proportions, details, and fine color coding are the same as Gundam. The mono eye is movable with the same gimmick as the converge and ensemble.

Zaku II

The first run-up was all MS related to the One Year War. Without the pedestal of EX parts, it can only be exhibited in such an inclined state, so I wanted the pedestal to be attached here if possible. This is also roughly the same as Gundam. Black such as ankles and knees are stickers, and the amount of stickers was smaller than others.

Includes commander aircraft head and Zaku Bazooka. The machine gun and heat hawk were attached to Ridden Zaku's. Zaku II exclusively for Johnny Ridden. Considering the lineup, this is likely to be Char Zaku's, but this time it is Ridden Zaku's. The reason is probably the balance with EX parts.

Option set and Accessories

The modeling was the same except for the crown and weapons. The EX parts for Gundam have become parts for replacing with Perfect Gundam. There are some parts such as the chest that can be covered, but most of them are replaced, so replacement is quite troublesome.

The fine color is also centered on the sticker. The shoulder cannon is movable back and forth and left and right. It would be nice to have a bazooka or saber here, so I was a little disappointed in that area.

EX parts for Zeong is possible to make Zeong perfect by using this. This is easy because you only need to replace the vernier with your feet. A joint for decorating the Zeong head alone is also included.

In addition, an arm cable is also included, allowing you to decorate your arm in the ejected state. The color is black, but it also has a handle that is common to others. Perfect between each other. It's deformed and I don't see these two bodies so much, so it gives a fresh impression.

By EX using parts A for Zaku 2, it is possible to replace it with a highly mobile Zaku. As with Gundam, there are many replacement parts, so replacement is quite troublesome. In addition, this leg is a high mobility type early type, and a late type is also included. For the late model, just attach the armor from the top of the early model. There was also a rifle and a magazine attached to the shoulder.

EX parts B for Zaku 2 is also a replacement part for making it a highly mobile type, and unlike A, it also comes with chest parts etc., making it possible to reproduce the familiar high mobility type Ridden Zaku's.

Two bodies side by side in a highly mobile state. Ridden also had a giant buzz. Weapons can be exchanged between Zaku. It was also possible to mount various weapons on the school bag. The same is true for Ridden Zaku's. The assortment of the boxes I bought contained two Gundam and Zeong like this. It is unknown if they are all common.

Movability and Articulation

As mentioned above, the movement of RX-78-2 Gundam is reasonably excellent, so the range of poses is wide. The waist does not move back and forth, but it can be twisted sideways, and the elbows and knees can be bent 90 degrees or more.

It was very close, but I was able to stand on my knees. Replaced with Perfect Gundam. Since there is not much interference, the movement did not change much. As with all species, it was quite disappointing because the end of the seal may be rolled up when moved.

Zeong joints are common to all types, there are differences in design, but the movements are almost the same. Since the side armor opens, the movement around the hip joint is excellent. The stand is easy to use, but it was regrettable that it can only be attached to this one type of EX parts for Zeong.

The Zaku II movement is almost the same here. Equipped with weapons of EX parts and converted to high mobility type. I can't hold both hands because I only have a handle, but I was able to hold it like that.

Ridden Zaku's various hips rotate firmly, there was no problem with the movement of swinging a melee weapon. Equipped with weapons of EX parts and converted to high mobility type. There is only a separate frame, and the weapons are large in size and powerful enough. With the weapons rearranged between the two types of Zaku. If you want to make your weapons heap, you should buy extra EX parts for Zaku.

Summary

This is the review of MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM VOL.1. In the impression of the sample photo, I did not think that the amount of assembled parts and seals was so large, so I felt it was troublesome, but the deformation condition that was a bit different from other series was fresh, the size was large and the mobility was also It was expensive, so I was satisfied with the content.

However, due to the large amount of seals, it is often stressful because it is movable and the edges are rolled up at the time of recombination, and recently most colors are painted, and it is highly completed just by crossing the joints. There is also an MS ensemble that boasts a high degree, so there were many dissatisfaction points when compared to that.
