This is review of Mobility Joint Gundam Vol. 2, a brand new assembly plastic kit candy toys Bandai.

Mobility Joint Gundam Vol. 2 Review

The new candy toy series "MOBILITY JOINT" is an assembly plastic kit series using general-purpose joints called mobility joints as the name suggests. You can enjoy edgy modeling and a wide range of motion that have been introduced with the technology cultivated with "G Frame".

The series is also the second bullet, and the degree of perfection has been improved from the first bullet. Here are some points to pay attention to before reviewing each item.

First of all, sharp molding with hard material. A mold that shines without inking is applied, contributing to a sense of density.

Furthermore, from this bullet, the frame and armor are separated, and the color coding at the parts stage is also actively done. Check out Sazabi's funnels and Geara Doga's shins!

As a benefit of this, the area of the seal is also greatly reduced. The complicated coloring of the ν Gundam has a lot of stickers, but as you can see, the amount of the Neo Zeon body is very simple.

And the expansion of the aircraft with EX parts is still alive in this bullet. By treating some of the armaments as EX parts, Sazabi has achieved a non-standard body volume.

This bulletin features "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack", and the lineup includes 4 types of aircraft: ν Gundam, Sazabi, and Geara Doga. In addition, the EX parts can be used to convert to the ν Gundam HWS equipment type and Geara Doga heavy equipment type, and the play value of the entire lineup is outstanding. Let's review all 7 types of 4 aircraft at once.

Nu Gundam

A rifle and shield are included as armaments. The detail density is one of the best in this bullet, and the deep carved lines make the main body stand out even without inking. The slim lower half of the body is cute, but it gives an impression close to the movie and the setting image.

The rifle has been painted blue on the top. The movement around the shoulders is a mobility joint, and the pose aiming to the left over the chest is also perfect.

Sazabi

It boasts the largest volume in this series, and actively uses color-coding by dividing parts into funnels and legs. It is a kit with a high degree of perfection that jumps over the frame of the series, and I would like you to pick it up and assemble it!

Armed with a beam shot rifle. The shield and saber are enclosed in the EX parts described later. It's also fun to move the shoulder armor boldly with a ball joint.

Geara Doga

This is also a high potential that is not inferior to Sazabi, and the spike on the left shoulder is partly divided into separate parts to ensure sharpness. The glaring mono-eye has a rotating gimmick, allowing you to move your line of sight left and right.

Both the left and right shields can be moved greatly with ball joint connections, and play a role in creating a dynamic silhouette.

Geara Doga (Rezun Schneider's special machine). It's the blue Geara Doga driven by Rezun. The shape of the main body is the same as the general machine except for the blade antenna on the head, and the armed beam machine gun has a different shape.

A performance that raises the right arm and gives instructions to the following aircraft. I would like to display it in combination with the mass-produced model.

EX parts for ν Gundam

An option set consisting of weapons and parts for converting the νGundam body to the HWS equipment type.

EX parts for Sazabi & ν Gundam

This is an option set consisting of Sazabi and νGundam armed, and is a so-called weapon set.

First, use the EX parts to fully equip the νGundam. It will be a familiar figure with fins and funnels. New Hyper Bazooka can of course also be handheld. The beam saber comes in two sizes, large and small. When equipping a large saber, remove the saber on the back. Sazabi comes with a shield, beam tomahawk, beam saber, long rifle and many other weapons.

The long rifle has a grip on the upper part of the barrel, and it supports image board-style poses. Saber dual wielding is also possible. The blade is painted yellow.

Beam Tomahawk can also be attached to the shield. One of the charms of this series is that you can enjoy a pile of weapons with weapons all over your body. Complete the νGundam HWS equipment type by fully equipping the νGundam with 2 types of EX parts! The volume is greatly increased, and the proportions of the standing figure are also good.

This is also in a piled up state with the addition of a beam rifle. I would like to find a weapon layout that I like and display it.

EX parts for Geara Doga

The Lange Bruno cannon that can be replaced with the Geara Doga heavy armor type, a green blade antenna equipped head part, and two Sturm Fausts are included in the set. Equipped with the Lange Bruno cannon, the Geara Doga heavy armor type is completed. Sturm Faust can be attached to either the front or back of the shield.

It is also nice to be able to replace the Rezun machine with a heavy armor type. The volume on the back is a masterpiece. The base of the Lange-Bruno cannon can be pulled out wide, so you can hold it firmly with both arms and put it in a shooting position.

When the gun barrel is turned to the back, the huge wing-like silhouette is also cool. Since it is a common standard, it can also be equipped with Sazabi. Welcome to the swamp of enhancements and expansions!

Summary

The movable range that responds to the display reproduced in the play is reliable. "MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM VOL.2" will be released after half a year has passed since the first release. The two types, Sazabi and Geara Doga, are well-known food toy kits that make voices come out even when assembled or moved, such as modeling, part division, and skillful use of ball joints.
