The package is in color, but the instruction manual is based on the usual Sengoku no Jin, and comes with a sheet of paper that supplements the sticker and color recipe.

Accessories include Tanegashima, Nichirinmaru & Sheath, Sankomaru, Denkomaru, display base & folding screen, weapon stand and nameplate.

Stickers include a foil sticker that supplements the color coding of the head, a transfer-type Gundam decal & marking sticker, a Japanese sticker, and a nameplate sticker. Although it is a Japanese sticker, it is a unique sticker that has been processed to feel and texture like Japanese paper.

Surplus parts are part of MG Gundam OYW, which is a base kit.

Finishing

This is a Shin Musha Gundam Sengoku no Jin color variation kit, and as the name suggests, the armor is a black base and part of the armor has been changed to a metallic molding color.

In addition, the parts that were originally gold have been plated in red, and the coloring has been changed. Overall, it has a somewhat villainous color scheme.

The kit itself is the same as the Shin Musha Gundam. The modeling and joint construction are also the same, and most of the color schemes are reproduced by dividing the parts like MG, but the blowback of the head is supplemented with stickers.

The joints are a type that uses a polycap and ABS together, and there are only knees, but there are screwed points, so a Phillips screwdriver is also required for assembly. All attached weapons can be attached to the main body. The appearance of carrying various weapons is powerful.

Head Unit

The head is the same as Shin Musha Gundam, but the chin and other parts are also black, so the overall color is darker. Since it is divided into front and back, there is a seam in the helmet part, and the coloring around the blowback and the vulcan is supplemented with stickers.

Body Unit

The red plating on the chest is a nice accent. Some of the armor is silver, but this silver was flashy with a molding color like Shine Silver, which has quite rough lame. Backpacks are no different. The vernier is the same blue-gray color as the joint.

Arms Unit

The arms where the pipe frame stands out. Since the shoulder armor is jointed, it has a high degree of freedom and does not hinder movement. The arms are based on OYW, giving them a powerful shape. The wrist is a movable type that is often found in old MGs.

Waist Unit

The waist armor is black and has a tight shape. The front armor is finely divided into sections and has subtle movements.

The hip joint has a slide gimmick without any particular change. The back of the armor has a lining on the rear armor, but it does not hide everything.

Legs Unit

The intricately designed legs are also accented with red plating. It's not an undergade, so there are some places where you can see the gate, but it didn't bother me as much as I thought.

The sole of the foot has movable toes. There is no change in this area. Compared to MG Shin Musha Gundam, which became the base. The red and black color gives it a heavy impression and gives it a dark atmosphere like a rival mecha.

Display Base

This is made by enclosing a paper folding screen with a plastic frame. A phoenix on a folding screen? And a picture of a dragon is drawn, and the color is as bitter as the main body. After that, there are weapon stands and nameplates, so you can put them on the base and decorate the main body and weapons.

Weaponry and Option Accessories set

A foil sticker for color coding is also attached to the head. The Japanese element is further emphasized by pasting stickers with cluster amaryllis on the upper arms and thighs.

The sticker has a thick Japanese paper-like texture, so the mold is hidden. The seal was divided moderately, so it was easy to apply. The state where the main body and the base are decorated on the base.

The nameplate is selectable, but there is enough space so you can display both. The picture on the screen looks like ink painting, so it matches well with the main unit. The folding screen is firmly connected, so it is stable and looks like a May doll. I just put the weapon stand on it, but it wasn't particularly easy to fall over.

Weapons haven't changed much. Artillery "Taneshima". The above is the one for this time. The molding color has changed and some parts are metallic. Since the angle of the grip is shallow, it is quite difficult to hold it straight, but it is relatively stable because there is a holding dowel.

The upper body is relatively easy to move, but the lower body has BJ hip joints and the ankles are not good enough to touch the ground, so there are places where you can't move compared to the latest MG.

The sword "Nichirinmaru" color has also changed and the scabbard is now black. The scabbard is monaka, so there is a seam. The blade has a beautiful plating finish. It is light and easy to hold.

The spear "Sankomaru" also has a different molding color and the red parts are plated. The blade was still plated. The round shaft makes it slippery and a little unstable, but the length makes it look nice and easy to hold with both hands.

Naginata "Denkomaru" has a thick grip, but it is easy to hold because it has a holding dowel. Also, by rotating the grip with the holding dowel, the dowel position can be changed 180 degrees.

Weapon plating and red plating are beautiful finishes, and there are many unusual finishes such as rough silver molding colors and Japanese stickers, and there are many colors and freshness.

Summary

This time it's a color variation of Shin Musha Gundam Sengoku Jin, and the main body, as well as the armaments, have not changed in particular. The armor parts are black and the gold parts are red because it is a black armor.

The folding screens are also in a monotone color scheme similar to ink painting, which matches well with the main unit and gives a sense of unity. In addition, the Japanese sticker, which imitates Japanese paper, was also characteristic, and it was possible to easily reproduce the detailed decoration of the cluster amaryllis.

The movable range of the lower half of the body is lacking, but it doesn't bother me when it comes to decorating the base, and the dark coloring is fresh and good.
