The RG 1/144 Gundam Mk-II (AEUG Colors) + G-Defenser, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @bousi03, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

This build combines the RG Gundam Mk-II (AEUG specification) with the G-Defenser, resulting in the classic Super Gundam configuration. The Mk-II primarily uses water-slide decals, while the G-Defenser is finished with realistic decals. Panel lining, partial detail painting, and a matte topcoat were applied to unify the finish.

The Gundam Mk-II was kept close to the original design, focusing on clean assembly and presentation. The internal verniers were painted red to add visual contrast, and the beam rifle and hyper bazooka were finished with minimal modification.

The G-Defenser received seam line removal, with areas that remained visible corrected by hand painting. During the combination process, the connection point was adjusted so the Mk-II’s legs do not protrude excessively in G-Flyer mode. The missile pods were individually color-separated for added detail.

In Super Gundam form, exposed polycaps on the G-Defenser were covered using circular detail parts to improve the appearance. The long rifle grip was reshaped so it could be held securely with RG hands. The twin eyes and main camera were painted with fluorescent paint, allowing them to glow under black light.

Overall, this project emphasizes careful finishing and subtle structural adjustments rather than heavy modification, resulting in a clean and well-balanced representation of the Super Gundam.
