RGM-79HC GM Guard Custom

RGM-79HC GM Guard Custom is a variant of the RGM-79SC GM Sniper Custom. It first appears in the MSV-R and later in Legend of the Universal Century Heroes: MSV-R.

The GM Guard Custom is a minor change variation of the GM Sniper Custom created during the final stages of the One Year War. It was developed primarily to defend allied units, and to guard the fleet as well as various military facilities. As the GM Sniper Custom served as its base machine, the GM Guard Custom maintains high mobility yet has enhanced defensive abilities like its huge shield - the "Guardian Shield".

During combat, a movable visor on the head would be lowered and is equipped with composite sensor system. The high performance of the machine resulted in it being difficult to control, thus it is mainly used by skilled mobile suit pilots. This also contributed to many of the GM Guard Customs surviving the war.

From "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN" MSD (Mobile Suit Discovery), GM Guard Custom (equipped with E-2 beam spray gun), which is linked to the "GM" variation lineage, has been commercialized with the High Grade The Origin Kit.

The chest, school bag and other parts are reproduced with new modeling, and a characteristic E-2 beam spray gun is attached.

Reproduce the changes in various parts of the whole body such as the chest, school bag, shoulders, and waist with new modeling. Two newly modeled E-2 beam spray guns are included. In addition, flat hand parts that expand the range of poses are included for each of the left and right sides.
