XVX-016 Gundam Aerial (ガンダム・エアリアル Gandamu Eariaru?) is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam - the Witch from Mercury. The MS that Suletta Mercury brought to the school. Its basic structure, in which Joints that imitate the human body are driven by EMTs (electric motors), is based on the same existing standards as mobile suits produced by other companies. 

Although it's a machine that can be handled by ordinary pilots, it displays a performance that sets it apart from the norm when Suletta is boarding it. Its powers are mediated by a new mineral called Permet, being very similar to the characteristics of the forbidden machine GUND-ARM, popularly known as "GUNDAM", which employed "GUND FORMAT", a system for MS that aimed at human augmentation.

From "Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch of Mercury", Gundam Aerial is commercialized in 1/100 scale standard series, "FULL MECHANICS". The main body has a layered structure that can be reproduced precisely because it is 1/100 scale. The shell unit, which was not reproduced in HG, is made with three-dimensional unevenness, mechanical modeling, and plated parts to create a light-emitting expression.

The layer structure with the clear exterior realizes a gorgeous parts configuration. A slide mechanism is adopted for the legs. The knee and thigh parts are movable to follow the movement of the standing knee. The toe parts also have a split structure to reproduce a natural ground contact. In addition, the shield can be divided into 11 blocks and deployed as Gund-Bit. 

It can be connected to various parts of the aircraft, and has a structure as a plastic model original gimmick. In addition, by using the separately sold "Witch of Mercury Weapon Display Base", it is possible to reproduce the display in the state of Gund-Bit deployment.
