GFF Metal Composite MS-06F Cucuruz Doan's Zaku [Cucuruz Doan's Island] Review
Some of the modeling is from the Zaku II, but the difference in body shape and damaged parts are reproduced in detail, so most of it is new.
Head Unit
The head is a new shape because it reproduces the long face design in the play. Exterior gaps are also precisely reproduced. There is a gap in the exterior, so the mono eye lane is longer as in the play. The mono eye is a clear part like the Zaku 2.
In the play, the mono-eye becomes larger and smaller due to the production, so two types of mono-eyes that reproduce that are also included. This one is big and this one is small. The difference between medium and large is not so noticeable, but the small was quite small. The mono-eye can be moved by opening the top cover and moving the knob as usual.
Body Unit
The body is almost a diversion of Zaku 2. The markings were peeled off during the play. The damaged center and left front armor are new. The hatch opening and closing gimmick on the chest remains unchanged.
Arms and Legs
The limbs are all newly sculpted to reproduce the slender body shape unique to Doan's Zaku. The arms are asymmetrical. The spikes on the shoulder armor are shorter than the normal Zaku. The left forearm is unarmored.
The right shoulder shield is also new and reproduces the tattered state. The lower cover of the school bag can be opened and closed. The vernier also has a movable ball joint.
Weaponry and Accessories set
A set of stands. Fully equipped. Zaku machine gun. This is common with items such as Zaku 2. Gimmicks such as the scope being covered, the fore grip moving, and the magazine attached and detached remain the same.
A spare magazine can be attached to the side of the waist or the back of the waist. Bazooka type A for MS. Although it is unused in the play, 4 types of bazooka are included this time.
The foregrip is movable, and the scope cover can be opened and closed. All gimmicks are the same, and Bazooka A, B, and C also come with replacement barrel parts without magazines. Bazooka A, B, C, and D each had spare magazines. The Bazooka D type can move the magazine insertion part forward.
Two bazookas can be mounted by attaching a mount arm to the school bag. It can also be mounted on the back armor. The arm can be moved while mounted, and the barrel can be directed forward.
Various spare magazines can be mounted on the shield. Same for other types. This comes with the blade emitting light as usual (long) and the stored state (short). Compared to a normal Zaku, the thickness of the limbs has changed quite a bit.
Movability and Articulation
The joints are the same, so the movement is the same as the Zaku 2. A large number of bazookas not used in the play are included. It doesn't look like Doan with a bazooka, but it looks like a normal damaged Zaku.
A normal machine gun is also included. Heat Hawk stance has a large amount of armament, but this is the only equipment used in the play. The neck and waist can be rotated firmly. Shake it up. Very flexible around the hip joint.
Summary
Most of the Gundam was repurposed, but most of the Zaku this time is a new model, and the damaged parts and markings in the play are precisely reproduced, and the limbs are slightly thinner, and the size of the mono-eye can be selected.
It was full and had a fresh taste. The movement is as good as the normal Zaku, and it comes with a large number of weapons such as machine guns and bazookas that are not used in the play, so I didn't have any complaints about playing.
