Snap-fit

First of all, on this Bootleg Gunpla GaoGao x Daban Model 015 NG 1/100 ORB-01 Akatsuki Gundam [Oowashi Pack / Shiranui Pack], there is nothing wrong with the snap-fit combination. The overall combination is mainly smooth. Although it is said to have an electroplated outer armor, there are basically no problems with the combination. They fit relatively smoothly. In some places, they even feel a bit loose.

Color and Finishing

There should be some mold repair done. This time, the nozzles of the electroplating parts are hidden, including some places that were previously exposed, and they are also concealed. So there will be no obvious nozzles. The color of the electroplated parts is good, the only disadvantage is that they are prone to fingerprints.

Movability and Articulation

As an old kit, due to structural limitations and other issues, don't expect excellent performance in terms of movement and articulation. After all, it is a large HG kit. The joints of many polycarbonate (PC) parts, due to the soft material, may become loose after installation.

When installing, it is best to reinforce these PC parts. You can use paper towels or other materials to increase friction and stability. Otherwise, if they are installed directly, they may have difficulty standing firmly, especially when carrying the large backpacks, which can be quite challenging.

Details

Regarding the face, from the current perspective, it appears to be the same as before. There haven't been any major changes. It hasn't become more attractive or unattractive. Since it is a reprinted product, some gray and red parts are essentially the same, but the surface may appear slightly greasier, and there may still be some shrinkage issues. However, compared to before, the fitting problem is indeed much less. There is almost no need for reaming.

In fact, there isn't much more to say about the product itself. After all, it's an old product that has been around for many years. Apart from some model repairs, the product itself remains the same. It's just a reissue to address some minor concerns of certain individuals.
