 The following is a review of Supernova MG 1/100 XXXG-01S2 Altron Gundam EW, a plastic model kit gunpla Master Grade released by bootleg factory Supernova-Model Heart based on the original model of the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz. 

Supernova MG 1/100 XXXG-01S2 Altron Gundam EW Review

Supernova MG Altron Gundam EW [Green color] is the third product of Supernova (the first one is the Action Base 1.5 Bracket, the second one is the MS Cage Base), which is the first complete Master Grade modified product of the bootleg factory.

After all, for a modified product, problems such as shape, details, and structural design will affect the product as a whole. In addition, many manufacturers are now making products similar to "metal build ver" modification. Whether it conforms to the taste of the public has become the focus of this product. 

Shape

The styling issue for this kind of product that cooperates with folk builders, the attitude is still supportive, and the overall shape is a little bit magical. In many places, a lot of details and parts have been added to the original version, and the proportions have also been adjusted. 

The overall feeling is a bit similar to the self-cultivation style of the seed series, which is different from the Wings style of the original. However, for a new factory, it is not easy to achieve this level. There should be more room for improvement. 

Details

In terms of details, the overall added details are decent, not too messy, they are all in place, and the overall matching feeling is quite comfortable, and the manufacturer's mold processing is still attentive, and the details of the lines and sharpness are well done.

But it is a pity that the added parts were not separated into parts while adding details. Although the manufacturer has provided some color-enhancing and complementary color stickers for this problem, there are still problems in the design, which is a sure-fire fact. 

However, as far as the current samples of the prime group are concerned, the whole is still acceptable, as long as the infiltration lines are treated, it is still possible, but if you compare it with the official pictures, it is indeed a far cry.

Snapfit

In terms of combination degree, the overall combination degree is still passable. There is basically no serious problem of being too loose or too tight to be combined. However, the leg joints do not feel tight enough, and they still feel a little loose when playing, and need to be strengthened later.

The other parts feel relatively in place, and the connection method of the faucet is a bright spot. It adopts a connection structure called Bowei building blocks, and the connection position is designed on the backpack.

The connection parts of this structure make the joints more stable. Tight, and secondly, the connection point is on the backpack, which frees up the hands and allows you to perform more different movements. Personally, I think this connection design is quite good. At least there is a different concept and choice in the original design. For the new factory, it is worthy of praise.

Weaponry and contents set

In terms of configuration, in addition to a beam trident set by Shenlong itself, the manufacturer has also added a physical trident weapon. The design is also very cool. It has more choices on the basis of the original version, which is really good. 

Moreover, the hand shape of the configuration is also different from the original version. They are all sharp and detailed hands, and the fingertips are very sharp. With the modified shape of Shenlong, it looks more domineering. 

The whole parts are basically designed with hidden nozzles (over 95%), which is a great boon for lazy people like the author. So many special things have been said above.

Summary

On the whole, the Supernova MG 1/100 XXXG-01S2 Altron Gundam EW product is quite remarkable in terms of shape, details and combination. As the first mg-level product, it is still a qualified product. Under careful production will perform well. But for the new factory, there is still a lot of room for improvement, and we hope to make more in-depth adjustments and optimizations in the follow-up products to make the products more mature.

There are some irregular defects on some sides or surfaces of the parts, such as: local frosted surface, flash and other problems still exist, and this domestic common problem cannot be avoided.

Although the whole parts adopt a matte texture to improve the perception, but some details, such as the mask and helmet, are still not sharp enough, and they are still slightly fleshy.
